4 Coronavirus cases in Del., UD campus empties out (Brandon Holveck et al.)

Recap of News Journal report - So far, Delaware has four presumptive cases of COVID-19, all of whom have ties to UD and were exposed to the same confirmed case at an off-campus event in another state. Samples will be sent to the Centers for Disease Control for confirmation. In reaction to the first case announced, UD moved up spring break by two weeks and will begin online courses on March 23. In recognition that some students will need a place to stay, e.g., international students, it will be possible for students to continuing living in the residence buildings and using the dining halls.
